Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“So far, I am not planning on going to any camps. I am just going to get into the gym a couple hours a day and work by myself or with a coach.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I have always been an Iowa fan. That’s just how I grew up, but I also like Michigan.”

Colleges that have shown interest for basketball are NDSU, Wayne State, Central College, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, Northwestern, Dordt, and Briar Cliff.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“So far, I have not made any college trips yet.”

What camps are you going to this summer?

Easton Valley athlete Nate Trenkamp
What sport do you want to play in college?
“Basketball would definitely be my first choice to play at the next level. Basketball has always been my favorite sport and was the game I fell in love with at a very young age. I will say though that if I had a chance to play baseball and felt I would succeed more in that sport, I would go the baseball route.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have not yet been in touch with any colleges. I haven’t really put my name out there yet, and with me not playing AAU, it makes it tough. I believe if I choose to play AAU next summer, then I think some coaches may reach out to me.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not yet made any college visits. I will start taking college trips this fall and spring of my junior year.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“For the most part, I usually attend a couple of smaller camps during the off-season and I plan do that again. I also plan on attending Snow Valley at Wartburg this July. I feel this camp would be very beneficial to my game.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college growing has always been the University of Iowa. Both of my parents grew up Hawkeye fans, so it wasn’t ever really an option for me to cheer for anyone else. I have also followed Duke basketball very close and been a fan of them.”
