“Football is my main goal and where I’ll have the best impact.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Right now, it is local schools like Graceland and Buena Vista. They have been sending camp information.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I’d say they are all pretty even.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“I’m trying to fill my weekends because we don’t have tournaments most weekends. I am trying to get to as many camps as possible.”

“It is definitely something I’ve thought about.”

“We are doing a team camp at South Dakota State in a few weeks.”

“Duke basketball.”

“I have entertained the thought of playing basketball in college but I haven’t made up my mind. I don’t want to go to a smaller college like some of the area ones. I want to go Division I and I’ll walk-on. SDSU or something like that would be great. I’d rather get a jersey and be on the practice squad than at a smaller school.”
What are some of the smaller colleges interested?
“Dordt College started texting me, Northwestern, and Iowa Lakes. I am just getting emails from a lot of people.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I don’t. My brother went to SDSU but I don’t really have a favorite.”

“Princeton and Air Force have both been talking to me a little bit. Augustana, Iowa State, and a couple of other Ivy League schools are.”

“I probably would say Princeton and Iowa State.”

“No, I haven’t had a chance. I haven’t had time.”
Have any college coaches visited your school this spring?
“Air Force was recruiting me at my school. Iowa State has talked to me for a little bit.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“I think I’ll try to hit up Iowa State, go down to Houston, and maybe get up to Air Force and Princeton.”

“Briar Cliff. That is about it. That is the only one that has contacted me.”

“At the end of the school year, I had coaches come to the school and talk to me from Iowa, Iowa State, and UNI. Coach Luther has had some calls from schools like Illinois State and those type of schools. They invited me to their camps.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Probably Iowa State. They sent coaches down and invited me to come to their camp. That was really cool. It is probably Iowa State.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“I am going to get to Iowa, Iowa State, UNI, and the coach from North Dakota State invited me to their camp. I also might go to one more at like Kansas State or something like that.”

“I’ve gotten a lot of Division III and some NAIA interest. It has been Coe, Central, Augustana, and schools like that. Also, Briar Cliff has talked to me.”

“You would say probably Coe so far.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“It is pretty tough because of my busy baseball schedule but I’ll try to get to a few camps.”

“Recently I have gotten letters from Omaha, Belmont, and recently Drake called. I talked to Ali Farokhmanesh recently. There is also St. Cloud State, UNI, and I’ve been keeping in touch with an Iowa assistant coach.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Cornell asked for my transcripts already. Then there are some Ivy League schools and Drake. Drake seems really interested. Elon sent me a letter and they seem pretty interested. People have been sending letters and calling.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Not this spring but I plan on going to Drake for an unofficial visit.”
