Cedar Rapids Prairie guard Griff Clark

Northeast Gooselake guard Zach Parson
Do you have a favorite sport that you want to pursue in college?

What sports are you considering?
“I am considering baseball and basketball.”
Do you have a sporting lean either way?
“Not really. I am stuck 50/50 between them.”
What sport and for what sport is recruiting you the hardest?
“Probably Wartburg for baseball. That would be the one.”
How will you make a sporting decision?
“It will be how the rest of the season goes and I’ll see how my heart feels.”
..........................................................................................................................................
Fort Dodge quarterback Drake Miller
Have you had any attention from colleges?
“So far, not much. I have gone to visits at Minnesota State and Iowa State. I also went to one at Iowa but other than that, not much.”
How was the trip to Iowa?
“It was me and Trey Mosley. We went on an unofficial visit for the Nebraska game.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I’d probably say Iowa State because I’ve been there for more visits. I really haven't had any teams look at me more or contact me more.”
Do you have any upcoming trips?
“No, not right now.”
..........................................................................................................................................
Danville bigman Kaleb Haeffner
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have got it narrowed down to five NAIA schools. There is one school in Louisiana, Northwestern State University. They have talked about offering me and they are a lower Division I school. I have a few walk-on offers at Creighton, the University of Idaho, and Southern Miss. Right now, I am leaning towards NAIA because I could play right away.”
What are some of the NAIA schools?
“Grand View, Mount Mercy, St. Ambrose, Governors State in Chicago and Trinity Christian in Chicago.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Probably Governors State because they offered me a scholarship at first this summer. They have upped my scholarship to get me to come.”
When do you want to decide?
“Right now, I am focused on leading my team to state. I am not worried about it because I know I have great options. I know I’ll make the right decision but I am focused on my goal of making state for the third time in my career.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I’ve been an Iowa fan but the more I watch UNI the more I like them a lot. I went to some of their games and I really like the way they play. I enjoyed North Carolina when Marcus (Paige) was there because he is from my community.”

Kuemper Catholic linebacker Chase Netusil
Where do you sit with recruiting now?
“I have not made a decision yet. I actually just got back from my first official visit at Sioux Falls and got an offer from them. Next weekend I’ll be going to St. Cloud State for an official visit, then Wayne State on the 21st and 22nd, on the 24th I’ll be going to Upper Iowa for an official visit. The week of the 23rd I’ll be going to Iowa Western and Ellsworth. The UNI coach told my coach that they will evaluate their punters and kickers. They will get back to recruiting those spots in mid to late January to see if they can grab a guy.”
How was the trip at Sioux Falls?
“It went really well but I enjoyed it a lot. I really liked the campus and the community surrounding it. They have a new coaching staff and it was a really good group of guys. Overall, it went really well. I was really pleased and happy with how it went.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Right now, I would say it is a tie between Sioux Falls and Wayne State out of that group.”
Do you have a level preference?
“I really don't have a specific preference. It’d be amazing to get a chance to play at UNI. That has always been a goal of mine but right now I want a chance to play college football. The level is not a big matter.”
Do you have a favorite?
“Right now, just because of recruiting, I’d say my top two are Wayne State and Sioux Falls in no order. They have done the best job recruiting me. My brother plays at Wayne State so I know a lot of the guys and the coaches as well. I know a lot of the coaches at Sioux Falls fairly well and have a good relationship with them.”
When do you want to make a decision?
“I am planning on making it in late January. I want a chance to talk it over with my parents and family. I want to find the best fit for me for the next four or five years.”
