Was there ever any consideration to play football in college with the season you had?
“There was some discussion about possibly playing college football but moving forward, I’m just going to play baseball.”
Why did you decide on Ole Miss?
“I choose Ole Miss because of their awesome tradition and great people throughout the entire program and University.”
How important were the coaches in your decision?
“Very important, because all of the coaches were previous catchers, and on top of that they are phenomenal guys who I’m looking forward to playing for.”
How do you feel about your team for this upcoming baseball season?
“I feel really good about our baseball team this summer. We have some guys coming back and everybody has already got started on a great off-season and are working very hard.”
What do you feel you have done differently compared to your peers in order to be so highly recruited?
“I’ve been very fortunate to have some great opportunities to be exposed to an abundance of people, and I just try to compete as hard as I can when given opportunities.”

“The only school I have really heard much from is Drake.”

“I had a gameday visit to Drake during the season.”

“I got invited to Morningside for a Junior day.”

“I didn't really have any favorite teams to watch growing up. I just enjoyed watching good football.”

“I've had a few different meetings with some coaches, but nothing major.”
