Who has the best defense in this class and why?

Well if we're excluding Regina here (until someone scores more points than they do in a game)..........I have a few in mind that you could make an argument for #2.


St. Edmond
A-H-S-T
West Lyon
Wilton

Some others to keep an eye on:

South Winn
Woodward-Granger
West Branch
Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn
IKM-Manning


You can make arguments for a lot of these teams, but each also has their own flaws. I have stats on all these teams, and there are a few I'd put over others, but I decided to post this list to start.

If you asked me to pick one team, I'd go with St. Edmond and it's not just because I'm most familiar with them. Like I said, I have plenty of stats to support that. (It'd just be a lot of reading for you all.

)

But as I also mentioned, they're not without flaws, which is why I have several teams in mind.

While it may have been snarky and dumb, there are FAR more posts on this website that need his attention.

It was honest, if nothing else. And very legitimate.

I thought you actually read the message boards, DT61.

Wilton graduated or had a transfer to its 2 best defenders.
Koy Snider was a beast at LB.
Jacob Giese was the menace that nobody could block.

You are a QuikStats guy. Go look at the roster and tackle chart. I am sure you will see Snyder, Giese, Kaleb Schmidt, and Todd Carter at or near the top of that list. Those kids were/are tremendous players and will be very difficult to replace.

Perhaps they will by the end of the year. But, in the preseason, I will disagree with that assessment 100%
