Wow! Cardinal2012 turned in a sizzling 28-3 performance to not only win the weekly contest but also overtake CraigsNews to win his 2nd straight prediction contest championship. CraigsNews led from the beginning all the way through week 8, and had been very consistent. But he had his worst performance in the final week, and Cardinal2012 took advantage of the opportunity for the win! PNation, up with the leaders all season, and BC Moore, very strong down the stretch, tied for third.

On a personal note, I felt Ridge View and the District 5 trio of Alburnett, Durant, and Wilton just killed me in this contest. I was never able to get a handle on those teams, and miss-picked their games more often than not. Those teams were probably exasperating to coach this season too!

Thanks to all who participated. It was very enjoyable, and I hope all of you will participate next year.

I encourage all of you to participate in maxstabs13's playoff contest, and will see you in that topic!

Best pick of the week: Bringin the Heat was the only contestant to predict South Central Calhoun's upset of once-beaten Ogden. Very nice pick !!

Pick that did not look so great Saturday morning: Six contestants chose Camanche to defeat Durant: ballboy21, CraigsNews, Superbee922, BlameIt, usfhawk, and Bringin the Heat. Durant won that game easily, 40-0.

> BC Moore 243-73

3rd place: woo, hoo!

Thanks for your work, Superbee!

Edit: Fixed incorrect spelling: "who hoo" ---> "woo hoo"
