Strange not seeing a Siouxland team in 1A to ruin the high seeded teams in the tournament.

It has to have been a while since no Siouxland team has made it from any class. I am pretty sure a few years there has even been Siouxland teams representing 1A, 2A, and 3A. Although it is not like they didn't have some pretty good teams this year, just got beat out by better or hotter teams. The Lakes and War Eagle are no strangers to state either so I think Northwest Iowa is still well represented.

1986 was the last time I believe. I echo weird its just weird not seeing one down there

First time in 10 years for a War Eagle team making it to Des Moines (last was Unity Christian in 05 I think). Good to finally have a team make it since they've had great teams that usually get knocked out by either Rock Valley, Boyden Hull, or West Lyon.
