Toughest two for me were the CAM vs Audubon and Beckman vs. Van Meter. Also if West Hancock is playing Easton Valley I would take them playing 8 vs 11 would be hard, but I think West Hancock may be able to keep it within 25.5. I also found it interesting that you think that the SEP vs. City High game is a closer matchup then Valley vs Ankeny.

Yeah, I just don’t see Valley losing by 2+ TD’s….or even losing.
I see SEP winning by 2+ TD’s.

For those 5A folks out there, how is Ankeny a TD favorite over SEP with SEP having all that talent? Doesn't SEP have like a handful of D1 kids with 2 being 5*? I can see last year with Ankeny having Arland Bruce but not sure how that happens this year?

That’s a good question, not having seen Ankeny until this last weekend, I would say their defense is quick, talented QB and they are a well coached team. While SEP does have two 5* recruits, perhaps the balance of their team talent is not at Ankeny’s level. I’ve noticed SEP playing Proctor at DT (why wouldn’t you) in certain situations and he may have to be out on field A LOT in the championship game. Hope it’s a good game but going with Ankeny…..of course the saying goes, it’s difficult beating the same team twice.

Ankeny seems to have SEP's number, like mentioned they are just more balanced overall. I have Ankeny by a touchdown, but could easily see either team winning.

The last three losses by SEP have all been against Ankeny HS. Two years ago in the playoffs, last year in the finals, and this year in the regular season. SEP has won 24 straight games against any team not named Ankeny.
