Looks like they are sending it back. What does the rulebook say? The commentator on the stream says there may have been an ineligible receiver downfield.
As long as the ball doesn't cross the LOS, you can continue as if it's a normal play and run or pass. But with all that going on, you run a high risk of an ineligible downfield penalty -- which is probably what happened if they brought it back.
Yeah hard to say for sure what they ruled, but seeing as though they took it back that is likely what happened. At halftime I will go watch the play a few times but the quality if the video on that play was garbage.
