What's happening with Sioux Center this year? I really thought they would continue to momentum from the past few years and continue their run.

Definitely a disappointing surprise so far!
I'm out of the loop on what's been going on, but talking to a few locals:
-Short transition from football to hoops due to playoff run. Not in BB shape
-Early injury issues
-A lot of good athletes where BB is not their primary sport & seniors are looking towards college careers.
-Lots of team dissention & role confusion.
-Bright spots in Alex Bakker & Borchers, who have been consistent
Scary part is that I think 7 of top 8 are seniors, so this should be their year.

Early injuries, recent injuries. This will be the scariest 11-8 team in about 1 month. They will be ready to play and will not go away quietly. I'm not sure about the dissention on the team, but I would wager Coach Arens will have them ready to go when tournament play starts. Too many good athletes--a run to the district final and possibly substate isn't out of the question.
