Spoke to a 30 yr Ala Power employee Wednesday. They are closing many of the coal fired plants in and around the state due to "joe's" directives. He said the price of gas last year at at little over a $1 last year - this year over $4. So by the time it all hits - expect your power bill to increase about 40-50%.
