Can anyone in the East ever challenge Don Bosco? DB has made it to the Championship game every year that they have been in 8 man. Except when they had to play a team from the west in the quarter finals and lost to Newell Fonda. 5 of past 6 years.

Central Elkader last season gave Bosco a run for its money in a very good quarter final game, that was a lot closer then the final score showed. I truly believe if Central Elkader would have won that game they would be the 2016 champions.

That game was 56-20....how much closer was it really? Not trying to be a smart alec, but what was the halftime score? One thing I wish they would do on Quikstats is make the coaches put in quarter scores like they do for baseball innings and basketball quarters. Not sure why football doesn't do this.

If I remember right it was 24-20. It was not tell the second half till Bosco wore them out.

Thought Midland had the spark of life it needed with that blocked punt, again I was wrong. Although I believe the outcome wouldve been the same with bosco coming out on top (obviously), there were several missed calls in that game.

Yeah (obviously). 80-12 is a whoopin, I'm sure the officiating crew would have made all the difference if they wouldn't have "missed" those darn calls as you see fit." Your dead wrong if you think the outcome would have been different

Heard Don Bosco did an onside kick late in the game when they were up 60 points, please tell me this isn't true.

Not sure if it was on purpose or not, their kicks were all low line drives off the side of their foot. 1 was pooched and hit a retreating front guy in the back

BTB is correct not intentional at all. looked like bosco had a young kicker in, it came off his foot weird and happened to catch a front line guy for midland.
