It was men vs boys tonight in west bend but west bend was without their quarterback which will make a big difference when he comes back. Imagine this won't be the last time these two teams meet up
G-T vs. N-K pretty physical game. N-K with 3 turnovers and 4 turnovers on downs inside the 15yd line. G-T has Girres who is a stud but they literally have illegal motion every play. Called about 10 times tonight but could have been every play. I think G-T takes that district if Girres stays healthy but if they run him 45 times every game he won't.

I saw midland was up 8 to 6 on don Bosco before being suspended during halftime. Kind of surprised. Thought bosco was going to be better.
Bosco had some first game jitters and did some good things and had a few miscues. Midland popped one play early and didn't have any luck at all moving the ball after that. Very few positive plays at all, mostly 3 and outs. Bosco had one touchdown called back on a terrible holding call ( flag wasn't thrown until ref was sure play was going to score ) and a few other phantom calls. Refs were reminiscent of the Preston game a few years ago. 15 penalties against Bosco vs 3 on Midland. Pathetic job by the refs. Score could have easily been 21 Bosco Midland 8 at the half. We'll see if Midland makes an effort to finish. Don't know why they wouldn't want a chance to win. I know Bosco is very interested in finishing the game. I think Bosco will be just fine. Just a few growing pains. Let's not forget, last years state champs started 0-3

I know the kids and coaches would love to play that one out. Still no word from Midland is what I hear. Midlands kids were getting beaten up. Positive yards gained by Bosco were way more than Midland. It was one half of football in a muddy mess. Refs were absolutely horrific. Film has been sent to the state from what I've heard, primarily for safety reasons. Midland hi lowed Bosco's D tackles multiple times with no flags thrown, and they were cutting Bosco's pulling guards which is illegal. Both are illegal for safety reasons. 8 to 10 illegal blocks not called just the start. Bosco has always been a team that starts slow and yes even in our state title and runner up years. Coach Yoder and his staff do a great job at the half und usually come out on top. Example: Last years score at the half vs Midland 8 - 0 Bosco. Final score 30 - 0 Bosco. We'll see how they progress. My bet is a nice run in the playoffs.

All I hear is complaining about how the refs blew the game. Maybe your players should learn how to hold onto the ball and hit somebody like a real team instead of running there mouths and complaining about how midland plays. I think CVC hit harder than these guys. That just shows who the tougher team is.
Wow...thats funny stuff....CVC hit harder than Bosco...you're memory has become cloudy fairly quickly...maybe someone did get hit to hard...I had to look at my calender to be sure this wasn't April 1st...I seriously doubt this is B Dirks...play nice children...
On a serious note, the Bosco kids had better work hard during this off season, and be ready for a battle vs Midland. Midland returns a squad that has the potential to make a solid run. They ( Midland ) will be a tough out for anyone they face this next season .
