Bishop Heelan with a thrilling 76-70 overtime win over SB-L in a tough 1st round clash. Elijah Hazecamp , the Crusdaders superb 6'5 sophomore had 29 pts and 14 rebounds. DeAndre Burnside , averaging 24 pt per game, was held to 13 but was outstanding defensively.
Doesn't get any easier as Heelan vs MOC in round 2.

Will be a difficult road. Jansen/Burnside duel! May come down to the supporting crews.
MOC-FV handled LeMars pretty easily.

Surprised that Harlan struggled with a 3-17 Dension.
Bigger surprise was a weak Storm Lake taking out Spencer. Disappointing year for a talented Spencer team that tried to play AAU ball (all O, no effort on D) during the regular season & discovered how that works out.

Spencer true that. They were the only capable team in that pathetically weak district that could stop Dr. Basketball's triumphant march to the Well. What an embarrassing district set up.
