SB-L #1 ? their lack of depth has them at 3-4 this season despite big expectations. And next year it will be even worse, when they lose two key starters, their only sub and have nothing coming up. There will be much better 3A teams than SB-L next year.

harlan 57 atlantic 50

atlantic has one of the tallest lineups in 3a...4 of the starting 5 are 6ft 5 or taller (tallest 6ft 7),with the other 6ft...

Cedar Falls 71, Dub. Wahlert 63. (Second huge win in a row for the Tigers. Beat Ames by 24 before the break. I think they are the best team I've seen play in person this year and that includes four top ten 4A and 3A teams. Tra'Von Fagan and A. J. Green combined for about 45 pts. Cordell Pemsl had 20. Cedar Falls has it all, height and (especially) quickness. They shot lights out. Records don't seem to mean much this year.)
Ankeny 87, Marshalltown 45
AP 72, Hudson 66
Benton Comm. 67, Solon 59
Central DeWitt 59, CC- Amana 53
Boyden- Hull 72, Sheldon 56
Colo- Nesco 61, Meskwaki 46 (many thought this would be closer)
Danville 85, Central Lee 49
DM Hoover 54, Indianola 33
WDM Dowling 68, Mason City 50
Gilbert 60, W. Marshall 39
Iowa City, City 59, CR Washington 44
Linn- Mar 76, CR Kennedy 56
MOC 78, West Lyon 59
Maquoketa 50, V_S 44
Waverly 70, Charles City 33
West Delaware 65, So. Tama 40
Western Christian 79, Estherville 34 (Western ready to start another streak)
Harlan 57, Atlantic 50 (speed beats height most of the time)
Ankeny Cent. 64, Johnston 49
Anamosa 84, Williamsburg 60
CB Abe Lincoln 73, SC East 52 (Great rebound from the Timberwolves Shootout)
DC- Grimes 51, Osky 38
CB St. Albert 60, Kuemper, Carroll 52
FD St. Ed's 55, IFA 47
Dub. Senior 45, Dub. Hempstead 39 (Mustangs led 24-13 over Senior at the half. Quite a comeback)

Colo won 61-46! Great game by both teams. Lack of having the whole team during break showed on the court tonight for the Warriors. Going to be a great rematch at the end of the season for both teams! Squads are very well matched!

Linn Mar at Cedar Falls this Friday. Should be a fun matchup. Linn Mar at IC West the following Friday. MVC Valley Division race will be interesting if anyone can manage to beat IC West.

There are so many good teams, not only in the MVC but in the state this year, that if a team's shots aren't falling or if they make a couple of bad decisions, they could lose. I haven't seen Iowa City West yet in person (I will next week), but I did watch the video from the Shootout in Minnesota and they are still the best in the state, I think. It's not only that they have more talent than most teams, it is that they play so well with their heads. I love their discipline.
