Gladbrook-Rienbeck (9-2)
Montezuma (4-4),
New London (6-3)
Winfield Mt. Union (0-9)
SE Warren (4-5) (99% sure, voted to in August)

North Mahaska considered but board went 3-2 against.

Any others?

By current enrollment these 3 parochial schools appear they could, but hard to find info on school board minutes or future enrollment.

Gehlen Catholic Lemar(8-3), Bishop Garrigan Algona (9-1), and Newman Catholic (5-4)

Doubt any of them will drop. Gehlen shares a field with Lemars Community so would be more expensive as they'd have to build an entire field with lights.

Last time my schools team played DM something they used a full size turf field in Altoona, they had a 120+ yard ribbon stretched end to end to make the out of bounds on the far side, the crowds all set on same side of field. I think they shifted the field towards one end zone and all extra points were all done on that end. Don't recall any field goal attempts. Other than buying the ribbon or painting an extra line I don't think it's that big of deal.

Edit. They might of had 2 straps to keep the field centered on the goal post, they hand anchors in the ground behind the goal post and ratchet straps or something to pull them tight. Probably easier to get them to lay flat on turf field than would be on grass. I was on the field taking stats and it seemed like we where a long way from the sidelines. Making me think it wasn't centered.

Wow.....that sounds like a big cluster! What opposing team would agree to playing on that field with a ribbon?

I think they should keep the BEDS at 100. Anything over that....stick them in A. Anything under they have the option to play in 8 Man.
