Why is the majority taking Fremont-Mills over Sidney...Looks like Sidney won by 10 at FM early in the season. Am I missing something here or are folks just going strictly on tradition. That didn't work very well last year for FM. Just curious. Thanks!

In 8man that's a close game, when it comes to close games its hard to beat the same team twice in a year. That' why I went the way I did

Did FM want to be district champs? yes. But they have bigger goals than that. They make the playoffs every year and have a state championship on their mind. Sidney hasnt made the playoffs since 2014 and they got smoked in the 1st round. Their goal was to make playoffs and they have already overachieved that goal by winning a playoff game.

Sidney put up over 500 yards of offense and led 31-14 in the game at Tabor. FM has a younger team definetly improved during the season. But Cowboys run game too much for them. Sidney wins at home

Close on the score Just flipped.. But using old worn out yardage didn't work so well Friday.

Sidney was so sure that it was going to stroll into the Dome that they forgot to show up and play. F-M team passed so may signs proclaiming Sidney was on their way to the Dome. That there was a picture on facebook with the officials pointing possession after a fumble that was captioned "Excuse me fellows. But which way to the Dome"

But The one I liked was a picture of a homemade sign that an F-M fan collected on the way back from Sidney. They leaned it against the entrance sign at Fremont-Mills. It read Sidney Cowboys to the Dome. The caption under the picture Read "Someone forgot to Cowboy Up."

The two schools are only 10 miles apart.​

great atmosphere for a game- rivaled FM-east mills a few years ago. IF Sergio hadn't gotten hurt, IF no goal line fumble, IF... it would have been closer. As it is, FM will represent our area well and go ahead and pencil them in as pre season #1 in Iowa for next year.
