Add in game scores, talk, and finals here as the teams have a berth to the UNI-Dome on the line now!
Xavier still has a stout defense that has losses to Dowling(Beat team in Iowa) and Regina(Possibly 2nd best team in Iowa. Yes, second best. The best Regina team we have seen.).... Head scratching loss to Western Dubuque though.Originally posted by bigfridaynite:
Pella will be tough to beat! Jansen is a huge player on both sides. Headed to Cincinnati to play D1 and he proved that tonight. Not sure if anyone can keep the title away from them. Clayberg had a good game, but Murphy and Henry ran well. Didn't need clayberg to take over the game like he can tonight. Would be a bad call if they don't put Heelan vs pella in the semis. But it doesn't matter cause pella will roll and be your 2014 state champs.
To me, Xavier's loss to Western Dubuque proved they could be game-planned. The Bobcats prepared outstandingly on defense to thwart Xavier's run game, and the Saints also missed an extra point and a relatively short field goal. Xavier also didn't complete a pass in that game.Originally posted by maxstabs13:
