How has the season been going so far?
“The season hasn’t started as well as we hoped. We lost a couple really close games, but we’ve been improving every week and I’m looking forward to the second half of the season.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“We can definitely improve on our decision making. We’ve had a lot of turnovers so far this season and will continue to focus on improving that in practice.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“I think the biggest thing for us is just trusting our teammates on the court and executing our game plan.”

How do you feel you have been playing?
“I definitely started the season in a bit of a shooting slump, but other than that, I have been playing pretty well.”

What are you trying to improve on the most this year?
“This year, I’m really trying to improve finishing around the rim. I’ve struggled a bit with this in the past and I think if I can be more aggressive and finish at the rim, I can help my team out a lot.”

What are your goals for the rest of the season?
“My goals for the rest of the season are to have a winning record for the second half of the season and to get to the free throw line more.”

What sport do you want to play in college?
“Basketball.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Buena Vista and Briar Cliff have been actively recruiting me the most, but I have been contacted by a few other colleges as well.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“Yes, I visited both Buena Vista and Briar Cliff.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“UNI was always my favorite college because my parents went there.”
