How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“Like every football season, you have your ups and downs. Everyone talks about how tough our non-district schedule is, but we expect to win every time we play so being 1-2 has put a chip on our shoulders.”
Who is your next opponent? What are your thoughts on them overall?
“We play Davis County. We played them last year and we were able to execute the way we had planned to. We plan on executing offensively and defensively again this time around. It should be a good game to have at home to start district play.”
What are the keys for your team being successful going?
“We just need to stick together as a family and have each other’s back as well as believe in one another knowing we can do some great things together as a unit.”
What are your goals for the rest of the season?
“Our goals for the rest of the season are to beat every team we line up against and make a run for the Dome. I believe we have the right people on this team to do so and it’s only a matter of time before people realize it.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes I do. I have always been a student athlete and I want to continue that at the college level. I have a true passion for baseball as I have played it for as long as I can remember, but I have a lot of football to play yet also.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have had contact from several schools at different levels. Right now, it is about finding the right combination at the right school.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I am going to be making several local trips this fall and winter and I am working on some visits further away this spring.”
Do you have plans for game day trips this fall?
“I am planning to take a couple this fall, but nothing concrete yet.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I grew up in Colorado until about 4 years ago, but my dad’s family is from Iowa, so I have always been an Iowa Hawkeye fan.”
