How did the football season go for your team?
“I thought it went pretty well. We all came together as one. We were a big group of juniors and seniors who got along pretty well. We were able to put our goals together and accomplish those.”

What are your workout plans now going forward?
“I plan on getting all of the to be seniors together and we’ll prepare. We have goals for this upcoming season. We will bring the younger kids along with us and basically do what the seniors did for us.”

What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“I want to improve on my strength and being able to block better in the second level. My goal for next year is to be around 250-260 pounds. I want to gain good weight in the weight room.”

How do you believe your team will be next season?
“We lost a lot of good seniors and they will be tough shoes to fill. I think that we have a lot returning. I think we should be pretty good next year.”

Do you want to play football in college?
“It is a goal of mine to play college football.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve been emailing back and forth with some coaches and emailing some other colleges.”

What schools have you contacted?
“I’ve been having email conversations with William Penn. I haven’t heard back from a lot of schools but I have sent emails to UNI, Grand View, Western Illinois, and that type of school.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“The one I’ve talked to the most is William Penn.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“For sure, I want to go to both Iowa and Iowa State. I went to Grand View last year and that was a good one. Illinois State was a good one I went to.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I was a big Iowa fan. That is my favorite college.”
