What have you been doing as of late with your workouts?
“Right now, I have been just working on getting faster and stronger with my track team. And for football, we have been doing footwork among other things in the mornings.”
What do you feel you have improved on the most since football ended?
“I feel that I have gotten faster and have been working on a lot of the little things.”
What are your areas of focus going forward?
“I am going to focus on leading by example this off-season and just making sure that our team works very hard so that we can be as successful as possible this season.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I believe we have huge potential as we had a lot of juniors play a lot of time last year and also many bright sophomores with talent. We have the potential to win a lot of games, but we have to work incredibly hard.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2018?
“The toughest game on our schedule is easily Xavier as they went undefeated last year and were state champs.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Some schools recruiting me are Simpson, Wartburg, Luther, Iowa State, and I have been in contact with others.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I'd say Wartburg has been recruiting me the hardest.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have made two visits to Iowa State and am planning to visit Wartburg and Simpson soon.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“I am going to go to Iowa State, Iowa, UNI, Grand View and some combines.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I've always liked watching Texas because of Jordan Shipley and Colt McCoy.”
