How did the football season go for your team?
“We finished the year 6-3 and just missed the playoffs. It was an improvement over last year, but we’re not where we want to be yet.”

What are your workout plans now going forward?
“I’m in the middle of basketball season, so that is my focus now. I’m lifting three days a week as well.”

What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“This off-season, I want to work on foot speed and agility. I also want to continue to focus on blocking techniques.”

How do you believe your team will be next season?
“Our goal for this upcoming season is to make the playoffs and have a chance to compete for a State title.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2018?
“If our district doesn’t change, then Dike-New Hartford and Aplington-Parkersburg would be our toughest games.”

How did Iowa State end up offering you a scholarship?
“Coach Campbell offered me during the bowl practice that I attended a few weeks ago.”

What were your first thoughts when they offered?
“I was certainly surprised, but very excited to receive this offer. This was a goal of mine; to receive a scholarship offer during my freshman year.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“At this point, only Iowa State has recruited me.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“I’ve been doing more national camps in the past, like FBU and PFHOF. This year, I will do more regional camps like Iowa State, Iowa, Nebraska, and Wisconsin among others.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“When I was younger, I was an Oregon fan. Now though, I appreciate the great teams we have here in this state.”
