What have you been doing as of late with your workouts?
“As far as working out, the weight room usually opens at 6:30 so I do my lifting then. After school, I have practice then I go home and rest. If I don’t do that I won’t have that much time to lift.”

What have you improved on the most since football wrapped up?
“Probably just my overall strength. What I need to work on is my speed more than anything.”

How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I think we’ll be great and better than last year actually I hope. We have some young guys stepping up and a lot of returning starters. It should be pretty fun.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“I’d have to say St. Ansgar is a tough team. They are big and strong.”

How do you feel about your first opponent of the football season in Garner-Hayfield/Ventura?
“They are our rivals. It will be tough.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Basically it is just UNI and Wayne State that have called. There are a few others that I may go to their camps.”

What other colleges are interested?
“Central, Simpson, Iowa Western, and Wartburg.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I couldn’t say at this point. I want to have a good senior year and hopefully can get more attention.”

Have any college coaches visited your school this spring?
“Wayne State, UNI, and Wartburg did a while back too. Otherwise, I am not sure.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“UNI called me up and they want me at their camp so I’ll probably go there. Wayne State is Nebraska called me and I’ll probably go to Iowa State and Morningside too.”
