What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“As a team, we have been working hard in the weight room throughout the winter and spring. I did track throughout the spring to focus on improving my speed. During the spring, I have been playing 7 on 7 with Gain Sports. I also have been training with the best football trainer in the state in Flynn Heald.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I think I have gotten a lot faster since last football season. I also have improved my route running ability.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“I am just working on becoming a complete wide receiver that can do anything the team asks.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“The team we have this year has a chance to very special. I know that we have the ability to be playing all the way through November.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“As a team, we are going to play tough teams throughout the season. I think we play our best competition at practice. Don’t get me wrong, we love playing in big games so we for sure have Waukee and Dowling games circled.”
Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“Our first game is at Southeast Polk. They are a good team with confidence after making it to the Dome last season. It will be a great first game.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I want to play football.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“In the past couple months, I have received camp invites from Iowa, Western Michigan, Akron, Northwestern, North Dakota State, Iowa State, Wyoming, William & Mary, Indiana State and North Dakota. I also have talked to those schools.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have visited Northwestern and Northern Illinois in April.”
What camps are you planning to do this summer?
“I am going to Iowa on June 2nd, Nebraska 7v7 on the 9th, Gain Sports Bus Tour June 13-15 (Vanderbilt, South Carolina and Old Dominion), June 22nd Kansas 7v7, June 30th Minnesota State, July 13th Southern Illinois 7v7 and July 20th North Dakota.”

“I grew up an Iowa fan.”
