What have you been doing as of late with your workouts?
“Lately, I have been working on adding some weight to my frame in the weight room and really working a lot on just some complex route running. I want to be able to work out of the slot just as effectively as working out of the backfield.”

What do you feel you have improved on the most since football ended?
“Since football ended, I think I have improved a lot on becoming not only a better football player, but also a better athlete both on and off the field.”

What are your areas of focus going forward?
“Going forward, I plan to focus on week one vs. Southeast Polk.”

How do you believe your team will be next season?
“Next year, I believe we are going to be a contender. Last year we felt short of what we wanted in the end, but it really seemed to light a fire in some of the returning guys. We have a lot of guys returning in our program whom have all been in those big games.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2018?
“Being Valley, we are always going to choose to play a very tough schedule. We really have to prepare for everybody the same way and not overlook anybody.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I do want to play sports in college. Football is where my passion is at.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have gotten interest from a lot of mid major schools, but mainly Iowa State and Minnesota State as of last year.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Iowa State. I visited Jack Trice at the beginning of the football season and I hope to make it back on campus.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I made a game day visit to Iowa State vs. UNI.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“Starting at the beginning of June, I am going to attend Washington in Seattle, Iowa State, Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, Nebraska, and Missouri.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“When I was younger, I was a huge Oregon Ducks fan. With the flashy helmets and the cool jerseys, it kind of caught my attention a lot as a young kid.”
