How did the football season go for your team?
“I feel it went pretty good for me as a junior coming off of an ACL injury. Team wise, we had some good seniors that led the younger kids.”

What are your workout plans now going forward?
“I decided to not play basketball due to the injury on my knee. I want to gain weight and get stronger. I think I am an undersized defensive lineman coming into my senior year. I want to gain weight.”

What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“I want to get quicker and be a little faster. That is my main focus.”

How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I feel we’ll be pretty good. We got a lot of good players going into their senior years and a lot of good younger guys. We have a lot of good leaders in my class that can carry us pretty far.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“I feel it will always be Dowling. It is a rivalry game and it is usually close. That will be the toughest.”

Do you want to play football in college?
“Oh yeah, for sure. That is something I really want to do.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Iowa State has talked to my dad a couple of times.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have had two visits to Iowa State. They were awesome. They are great people up there.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Iowa State.”
