How did the basketball season go for your team?
“We were pretty happy with it. We reached two of our goals by winning conference and getting to state. We wanted to win state but we fell a little short of that.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“I’ve been lifting and working out for basketball every day after school. I’ve been playing with the Iowa Barnstormers.”
How do you feel the Barnstormers team will do this year?
“It has been going pretty well. I think we’ll do really well. We added some new guys and have a lot of depth. Everyone is really good.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I think we will be really good again next year. We are losing five seniors and they had a lot of experience. I think we have some juniors that are good and can step up.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“Next year, Western Dubuque will be tough. They were young this year. They were pretty solid.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“UNI, Drake, North Dakota, South Dakota State, and Nebraska. Those are the five main ones.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Recently South Dakota State. I worked out for them and they said that they’ll be watching me.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“No, I haven’t.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“I think I’ll do UNI and Drake again like I did last year. Hopefully I can go to a Nebraska one again and some others.”
