How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“Pretty well. We have been meshing really well lately. It really feels like a family and that definitely helps when it comes to practice and game time.”
What do you feel your team can improve on?
“We have not yet put together all three phases of the game. We have not played to our full potential yet and that is what we are working towards every week.”
What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“On defense, we have to focus on doing our job. Our defense is based around everyone doing their job. We focus every week on doing our assignment so we can all work together. On offense, we need to keep using the run game to setup the pass. Coach Hierseman does a great job of mixing up plays and I think it keeps teams on their toes.”
What are your goals for the rest of the season?
“Our team goal this season is to play to the best of our ability and make a run in the state playoffs. More importantly our main goal is to play one game at a time as a family.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would like to football. It has always been a dream of mine to play collegiate football.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Nobody has been real serious about recruiting me.”
Do you have plans for game day trips this fall?
“Not at the moment, but I may set some up in the coming weeks.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college growing up was the Iowa Hawkeyes.”
