How did the high school football season go overall?
“Obviously we did not end how we wanted, but it only ends that way for one team. We accomplished a lot of goals. People didn’t think we could and made it to the state quarterfinals, so we have a lot to be proud of, but we are never satisfied.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I am in basketball right now and will be in baseball this summer, but for now I am continuing with weightlifting and speed and agility workouts in the mornings.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“Being a captain, I want to be the best role model for my teammates and be the best leader on and off the field as I can be. Vision of the field will come with off season workouts and camps.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think a lot of people will be doubting us considering we lost 9 seniors, but that is fueling everyone to work even harder this offseason as we have some good leaders coming back.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“With the state re-assigning districts, we do not know who we will play yet. We usually have a very tough district and non-district with three 2A teams.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would be interested in playing college football, but not really any other sport unless something comes upon me.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“A variety of division 3 schools have reached out to me and talked with me, but it’s too early to say favorites.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not made any college trips yet, but I would like to take some visits once the weather gets nicer.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I plan on going on multiple visits once the weather gets nice.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college growing up was always Iowa.”
