How did the high school football season go overall?
“This year’s season went pretty good as we finished with a 6-3 record. I am very proud to have the teammates I have because without the team effort we had, this season would’ve not turned out the same.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My plans are to definitely put on some weight, hopefully most of it being muscle. I am 6’2 190 and I plan to get up to 210. So, with that being said I want to get stronger, not only physically but mentally also. I strongly believe both of those aspects play a big role in my game. I do also play basketball, so I plan to stay in shape with that.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“I am trying to improve my pass rush for next year. I plan to do that by getting stronger as I said and work on my technique during the offseason.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think Webster City should have a good season next year, but that is far away, and a lot can change before then, hopefully for the better. We are as a whole team trying to get stronger, as we have already started weight lifting sessions back up again.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“Our schedule is not out yet, so I do not know who we will be playing.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I do want to play sports in college, and if I could pick what one, I would prefer for it to be football.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I am not being recruited by any colleges at this point.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“No, I have not made any college trips yet.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I did not have an absolute favorite college growing up, but at the same time, I have grown up watching the in-states colleges such as Iowa, Iowa State, and the University of Northern Iowa.”
