How did the high school football season go overall?
“I thought the season was very good. We went 12-1, which is a great season for any high school team. We did better than last year and the outcome didn’t happen as we wanted it too, but it was still a great season.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My plan is to play basketball and run track to stay in shape for football. We also have started lifting for next football season and this is every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“The most that I am trying to improve is my speed and strength. This is going to help me in every sport I play, and it is very important if I want to play in college.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel that my team will work hard this offseason and our next season will be a very good one. I am really looking forward to it.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“The toughest team that I think we will play next season will be Cresco. They are a big team that has lots of returning juniors and they like to run the ball.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would love to play sports in college, and I would prefer to play football because that is my favorite sport and the one I most excel in.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have not had any colleges try to recruit me, but many have talked to me at camps that I’ve gone to this past summer. Those colleges were UNI, Iowa, Wartburg, and Concordia-Wisconsin.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not made any college trips yet, but I will be going to UNI on a college visit.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college growing up was always the University of Iowa. I also like have grown to like UNI.”
