How has the season been going so far?
“The season has been good. It feels good to be out there again playing with my teammates.”
Have you been pleased with how you have been playing?
“Yeah, I’m pleased, but there is always room for improvement.”
What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“The keys for us being successful will be us being able to defend. We know what we can do on the offensive end, but it will come down to us being able to guard and rebound.”
Who do you feel is the toughest team on your schedule?
“I feel like there are a lot of tough teams in the CIML this year. It is going to be a lot deeper conference than it was in the past and we have to make sure we are at our best every night.”
What are your goals for the rest of the season?
“My goals for this season are to just win and make sure we are playing our best basketball come March.”
What areas of your game do you want to improve this fall?
“The areas I’ve most improved on this fall would be getting to the rim and becoming a more versatile scorer rather than a catch and shoot guy.”
What colleges have offered you?
“Offers have come from South Dakota State, Drake, Air Force, and Creighton.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve heard from Texas, Iowa, Iowa State, UNO, and the schools that have offered.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Creighton, Drake, and UNO have all been in contact with me the most.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have made a couple unofficial visits, but plan on taking official visits later in the spring.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up, I had always dreamt of playing at Creighton because that is where my dad has coached for so long. Now with him being the coach at Drake, it makes that a tough decision.”
How much has it helped you growing up around the game of basketball?
“Being around the game of basketball helps significantly. You get opportunities that many kids would dream of and that’s something you can’t take for granted, but there are still some pros and cons to be a coach’s son.”
