How did the high school football season go overall?
“The season overall went pretty well. Obviously unless your team wins a state championship, you’re not satisfied but I think as a team we still battled hard all season.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“Right now, I’m training with the best trainer in the state, Flynn Heald, and also doing off season track workouts and lifting.”

What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“I’m just trying to be a better all-around player now. I’ve started the past two years and I know what I’m doing now. I just have to help my team and play fast and physical.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think there is no limit for Waukee this coming season. We all have to commit to this team and if we do, I definitely think we will compete for a state title.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“The toughest competition is ourselves, no doubt. Every team wants to win, and every team will fight to win. It all depends on what team wants it more. We as a team have to work hard all off season and show up when it’s time to play and if we do that, we will win games.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I want to play football in college.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve been getting recruited by South Dakota State, North Dakota State, South Dakota, Harvard, Princeton, Yale and Penn.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I’d say South Dakota State is talking to me the most. I’m going there on a junior day in April.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I took a game day visit to NDSU in November.”

Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“SDSU in April and hopefully getting more on the calendar soon.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college growing up has been the Iowa Hawkeyes, but I want to play where I’m wanted and where I fit in the best.”
