How did the high school football season go overall?
“I think this year was a great building year for Waukee. It was obvious we had a very young team and we grew a lot throughout the year. I feel good about it, but I know as a team we wanted to do better.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I’m participating in a winter lifting program at Waukee right now and I’m also doing VertiGo speed training. I will be doing track in the fall as a hurdler, long jumper, and sprinter.”

What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“As a player coming back, I want to really become a leader for our team. I’d also like to get bigger and faster in the off-season to help my team when the next season comes around.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel very confident in the team for the upcoming season, mostly because we have such a great coaching staff and a lot of returning players.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“To be honest, I don’t know who will be the toughest competition. A lot of things can change from here to next season, but I know Dowling and Valley are always up there with some great teams.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I’d love to play football in college. That’s been my dream ever since I knew what football was.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“As of right now, I have not been recruited by any colleges.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I’ve grown up an Iowa fan, but when it comes to colleges, it’s whichever one fits me as a player and for my future.”
