What have you been doing as of late with your workouts?
“After school every day, we have lifting. Coming up into the summer, we’ll have a team camp in South Dakota and our whole team is going up there. I also wrestle so I’ll be doing some wrestling workouts and camps too.”
What have you improved on the most since football wrapped up?
“At first, I was a lineman coming into the season but they needed me at linebacker and threw me into linebacker. I ended up getting first team all-district and it was my first year so it was very surprising to me. I improved on reading my keys and got a lot better because of our coaches. They are phenomenal.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I am so excited. Our team will be insane. Most of our guys last year were juniors. We’ll get to the Dome and challenge teams like Valley and Dowling.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“Like every year, it is Valley or Dowling. This will be the year where we actually have a very high chance of being able to beat them. That is this year.”
Do you have a favorite sport?
“I enjoy football more.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve gotten a couple things from Oklahoma Baptist University, Minnesota State, Iowa Western, Simpson, and all of those schools.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I would have to say the Reivers (Iowa Western). They are giving me more letters.”
Have any college coaches visited your school this spring?
“Not that I have heard about.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
