How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“I believe that I have had a pretty decent season so far. My coach has built more trust in me over the summer and has been more willing to put me out there for field goals this year.
Who is your next opponent? What are your thoughts on them overall?
“The opponent is Indianola. They are a really good team, and it will come down to the wire in that one.”
What do you feel your team can improve on?
“The thing that has hurt us the most this year has been our own mistakes. We have had a couple of games that we should have won, but one play hurt us both games and we unfortunately did not come out on top.”
What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“Having confidence in ourselves is key. We have a lot of depth and talented players on our team, and we can beat any team we play. We just have to have the right mentality to come out and play our 100%.”
What are your goals for the rest of the season?
“My goals are just to perform my best for the rest of the season and try to keep my consistency up.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would like to play college football if it is possible.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have had a couple of schools scouting me, but nothing much at the moment.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have had some academic visits to Iowa, Iowa State, and UNI.”
Do you have plans for game day trips this fall?
“I currently do not have any game day visits planned, but I am keeping my options open.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up
“Growing up, I have always been a University of Iowa fan, so it would be a childhood dream to play there.”
