What have you been doing as of late with your workouts?
“I did a lot of off-season training over at Iron Works in Urbandale. I have also been doing track and baseball just started.”
What have you improved on the most since football wrapped up?
“I have put on 10-15 pounds since football ended and I have gotten a lot faster with training.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I got high hopes for our team next year. We’ll be one of the top competitors in this class. It will be fun to see how this season shapes out.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“I think Valley and Dowling will be the toughest as usual but we have a good chance of beating one if not both of them next year.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve been getting a lot of emails from Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Iowa State, UNI, and those are probably the main Division I schools. Northern Illinois is also contacting me.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I’d say either Iowa State or Princeton.”
Have any college coaches visited your school this spring?
“An Iowa State coach came down to our school and had a talk with me and my head coach.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“I got a busy summer with baseball but we have a bunch of weekends open. I am going to the three in-state camps and then I’ll head over to some eastern schools like Princeton and Yale.”
