How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“So far football has been going well. Senior year is flying by and no matter the result of the games, you just have to enjoy it because it will be over soon. We have struggled the past couple weeks, but I know our guys are tough and we will be able to bounce back.”
Who is your next opponent? What are your thoughts on them overall?
“Cedar Rapids Prairie. Prairie put it on us pretty good last year, but we are looking to bounce back big time. That is our senior night, so we want to bring that one home.”
What do you feel your team can improve on?
“Our team has all the tools to be great and as of late the receivers and I have been starting to gel even more, which will be needed these last 3 games. We just have to be more consistent with effort and always just have the mindset that we will beat the guy in front of us.”
What are your goals for the rest of the season?
“Our goal is to win out. This group of seniors and I have had the goal of going to the playoffs all offseason and if we play to our potential and we get some help that is out of our control we are hoping to sneak in.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, football.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Drake, Upper Iowa, Sioux Falls, Coe, Loras, Wartburg, and Waldorf.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Loras.”
Have you made any college trips yet
“So far, I have been on a gameday visit to Coe.”
Do you have plans for game day trips this fall?
“I am planning on going on game day visits to Loras, Upper Iowa, Drake, and Wartburg this fall.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“The University of Iowa.”
