What have you been doing as of late with your workouts?
“I’ve just been doing a lot of running and making sure my cardio is up for both baseball and football. I’ve bene trying to hit the weights really hard and keep my strength up there.”

What have you improved on the most since football wrapped up?
“Individually, I’d just say my mental toughness. I’ve really been trying to stay focused and really work on my work ethic too.”

How do you believe your team will be next season?
“We had a great run last year and I think we’ll be fine. If we have guys as committed as last year and in the weight room, we should be fine.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“Definitely Washington like last year.”

Do you want to play sports in college?
“Definitely. That is the dream of every kid. For me, my favorite sport is baseball but I am working my butt off for anything.”

Has there been any attention?
“I’ve had a couple of coaches talk to me at camps. I went to the Iowa camp in January and they were talking to me.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“I got a lot more baseball games but football camps are tough with the baseball season.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My home town team, Iowa. It has always been Iowa.”
