How did the high school football season go overall?
“I think our season went very well, especially for a lot of people thinking we weren’t going to do that well and being very young. We were a very good team I feel, but our season just ended shorter than what we hoped.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My plans now are to lift for football and get ready for basketball, track and baseball. I will be lifting through all of it and trying to make my game better also.”

What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“I am trying to improve on my overall ability and speed, but most importantly, trying to be a leader and a role model for other players. I want to help people and try to get my teammates motivated.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“With as much experience we have coming back next year, I feel we will be better and learn from this year. We did lose some big seniors, but we have people that can fill the spots and be the best they can be. Our dream is always to make it to the Dome.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“I think our hardest competition would be either Hudson or North Tama. They were our two losses this season and they both have a lot of talent. They will both be very good games and very close. With North Tama always being physical and Hudson coming off a state title, I think they will be the best competition next year.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I would like to play sports in college. It could be either football, baseball, or maybe both. Right now, football is my top sport to me and that is the sport I would strive to go to college for. It is always my dream of playing at that level, especially in D1.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Right now, I have not been recruited to any because I’m only a sophomore this year. I hope I could get recruited to some big schools. My dream colleges are Iowa or Notre Dame. They have always been colleges I want to play football at. They both have good programs and good education systems also.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not made any college trips, but I really want to try to make some soon and visit with them to see how I can get there. I also know where I would be able to go to school at after high school.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“The past few years I have loved Iowa and Oregon. I have dreamed of going to one of those colleges because they’re great colleges to me. It would be a real dream come true to go to one of those.”
