How did the football season go for your team?
“For me and my team, I think we had a lot more potential than we showed. There were a couple of close losses that we could have won. We gave up a lot of over the top passes.”

What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“I think I have the ability to get off of blocks on defense. I need to work on hand movement and foot movement to get quicker.”

How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I think we’ll be pretty good. We got a lot of returning starters. I think we’ll be decent up front. I think we might surprise some teams as we move to 2A.”

How do you feel about moving to Class 2A?
“I am looking forward to it. It’ll be good for us. It gives us a lot more confidence. We have been in a 3A district with some of the best teams in the state. That will give us more confidence.”

Do you want to play football in college?
“If the opportunity presents itself, I could play at the next level. I haven’t gotten anything really lately but it is something I would do, yeah.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Not a whole lot. I had a couple of small schools here around Iowa. It is some of the local schools.”

Do you recall some of the programs?
“No, I do not.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“I don’t quite know where or if I’ll go to any camps.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Iowa State is the biggest one and where my dad went. It has been my dream to play at Iowa State but with their success lately it is going to be even harder.”
