How did the high school football season go overall?
“The season went very well. We aren’t satisfied with our finish to the season, but we were overall very successful.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I’m currently lifting about 5 times a week, as well as starting to get back into some baseball related stuff.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“We lost a couple of critical pieces, but we also have a lot of returners. I think we can be very successful, but it all starts with the work we do in the offseason.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Not sure of our schedule yet, but if we play Winterset again, then probably them. They are a very solid team, with a lot of talent.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“Next year it will probably be the Dawson Forgy from Winterset, or somebody we play later in the playoffs.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Most likely. I haven’t completely decided if I want to do baseball or football, but I am leaning towards baseball.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve talked with a couple NAIA and D3/D2 schools for football, but not a ton.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“No, I am planning on checking some schools out over spring break and later in the year.”
Do you have plans for any trips soon?
“Not yet.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Probably Iowa. A lot of my family went there, so I’ve gone to games growing up.”
