How has the season been going so far?
“It has been going well. We’ve all been working hard.”

Who is your next opponent? What are your thoughts on them overall?
“Pella Christian. They made it to the Dome last year, so they’re probably going to be a good team.”

Who is your opponent after them? What are your thoughts on them overall?
“Madrid. They’ve got a good run scheme, so we’ll have to watch that.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“We need to focus on speed and I know that’s something I lack. We’ve got strength on our side, but we need to get more explosive.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“Just playing for the team and not for the individual. We have to focus on violence of action, and always staying in the moment.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yeah, I want to play football.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Minnesota State Mankato, Yale, and NWMS.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Minnesota State Mankato.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I went to the Ivies this summer and toured them.”

What camps did you attend this summer? How did the camps go overall?
“Yale, Princeton, Penn, Cornell, Minnesota, Minnesota state, ISU, Iowa, NWMS, and UNI. I felt good until I tore my hamstring at the end of June. Since then, I’ve been nursing my leg back to being healthy.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“South Dakota, since my dad played there.”
