How did the basketball season go for your team?
“It was really good. We made it to state after being underrated at the start of the year. After we started beating a lot of teams, people realized we were pretty good.”

What are your workout plans now going forward?
“We got four or five guys playing on the same AAU team. We are doing that on most weekends. Individually I am lifting on my own. I got stuff to work on with my strength but the whole team is getting better.”

What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“My strength. I feel my skills are pretty good. I need to work on my strength.”

How do you believe your team will be next season?
“We should be a really good team again. We don’t lose much. We return almost all of our scoring and five starters. We should be pretty good again.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“Probably Des Moines Christian and Pella Christian.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Mainly it is a bunch of NAIA schools, Division II, and Division III schools. My parents told me to not talk about individual schools.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“There isn’t a difference really. The NAIA (schools) are talking to me every day.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I’ve gone on a visit to a couple of NAIA schools and some Division III schools as well.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“I am considering it but I am not sure which ones I’ll be doing.”

Have any colleges offered you a scholarship?
“Not yet, no.”
