What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“I have done lots of workouts at the park consisting of ladder drills, cone drills, and speed work. My basement has turned into a weight room as well.”

What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I actually had shoulder surgery on the 12th of December, so it’s been a lot of recovery. I have increased my footwork and my agility probably the most since last season.”

What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“I’m trying to hit the weight room extra hard before next season and just trying to be more explosive and faster.”

How has Covid-19 factored into your workouts?
“Instead of going to the field and working out or going to the school every day to work out, I have been home or down at the park getting better. It’s a big difference, but it’s more responsibilities and more challenging but it’s just different.”

How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“Next year, I feel we have a good chance to get to the Dome. Our defense is super salty with most of the guys returning. We have a chance to really make a run for a championship.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“The toughest team on the schedule is a hard one. It’s a challenging answer because we could lose players through the season to injury and such, but I’m going to have to say week 3 against Dowling.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against this fall?
“There are lots of good kids that we are going to play next year. The running back from Valley is getting big looks and was pretty solid last year when we played them.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“The college football dream has been a dream of mine for a while now. I really want to play in college, but I still have lots of work to do.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have talked to only a couple coaches, but I haven’t been recruited yet.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“Not yet.”

What camps are you planning to do this summer?
“I think I’m attending the Iowa camp, Iowa State camp, UNI camp, Nebraska camp, and Wayne State camp.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Iowa State. Go clones.”
