What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“My buddy and I work out every day at a farmhouse outside of town. In turn, we help the gentleman who lives there with whatever he needs. He has some old rusty, beat up equipment that we use.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I feel I have really improved on my flexibility and strength.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“I am really trying to improve footwork and agility.”
How has Covid-19 factored into your workouts?
“It’s been tough for us. Not being able to be in the school weight room with your teammates and building that camaraderie among us.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I personally think we will have a great season. Trusting in the coaching staff and each other will help us week in and week out.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“This year, we play a lot of new teams we haven’t seen before. I’m not sure which team will be the toughest. We will just have to prepare the same each week no matter who we have.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against this fall?
“That would probably be Jeff Bowie from West Branch. I believe we play them week 1.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I would like to play football in college.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Iowa, the University of Sioux Falls, Bemidji State, Wayne State, Minnesota-Duluth, and Northwest Missouri State.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I would say Sioux Falls and Wayne State.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I visited Iowa last fall for a game day visit, but that’s the only visit so far.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“No visits planned, but I am going to camps to try and catch some eyes.”
What camps are you planning to do this summer?
“I am planning on going to Iowa, UNI, Northwest Missouri State, Wayne State, and Minnesota-Duluth.”

“I was the world’s biggest Hawkeye fan growing up.”
