How did basketball go this off-season?
“It went really good for my St. Eds team. We won a lot of games after going to Drake and Iowa State team camps. I think we all played good. I played for All Iowa Attack and that really helped me develop my game.”
What have you improved on the most since last basketball season?
“I think it is just becoming a leader. Before I had to play the two-position and now I’ve been playing point guard. It is being more of an overall leader on the court.”
How do you feel your high school team will be this winter?
“I think we’ll be really competitive. We have Will and I back from our starting lineup.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule?
“I haven’t really looked but I know Clarion-Goldfield will be good. Humboldt will always give us a run of our money. Clear Lake beat us two times last year and they are always good.”
Do you want to play college basketball?
“Yeah, for sure. That is something I’ve thought about and want to do.”
What are some of the colleges that have been showing you attention?
“It has been NAIA schools like Briar Cliff, Waldorf, William Penn sent me some letters, Wayne State, and Augustana in South Dakota.”
Have you made any recent college visits or do you have any planned?
“I went to Waldorf on a visit deal. Then I went to Iowa Central that is here in Fort Dodge for an open gym that they had me out for.”
What college is recruiting you the hardest?
“I have gotten the most letters from Briar Cliff but I have been texting the most with Waldorf. It is probably those two.”
