How did the spring and summer go for you with basketball?
“The spring and summer went very well for me. I was playing with a very talented All Iowa Attack group, and my confidence playing at such a high level went up every tournament.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“My workout plans are pretty simple this off-season. There will be a lot of ball handling and speed work.”
What have you improved on the most since last season?
“I would have to say my defense is much improved since last season and that is because of the speed and agility work I have been doing.”
How do you believe your high school basketball team will be next season?
“I’m very optimistic about how our high school team will be this year. We have a lot of speed and should be able to really get out and run on our opponents.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2018-2019?
“Probably Algona Garrigan.”
What are the keys for your team having success?
“The big thing for our team this year is going to have to be doing the little things. We’re not the biggest or strongest guys, but we can definitely win a lot of games with our basketball IQ.”
What sport do you want to play in college?
“It has always been my goal to play college basketball. I have always enjoyed the other sports, but none give me the same joy as basketball.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Waldorf, Briar Cliff, Upper Iowa, Bethany Lutheran College, St. Mary’s in Minnesota, Iowa Central, Simpson, Grinnell, and Iowa Wesleyan.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Waldorf offered me early this spring so probably them, but I hear weekly from most schools.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I took visits to Waldorf, Bethany Lutheran College, and St. Mary’s in Minnesota. I plan on taking more this fall.”

“I’m a big Cyclone fan. I watch all there games religiously.”
