How did the football season go for your team?
“I felt we competed a lot as a team but we still got a lot of work to do for this upcoming season.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“I am definitely hitting it hard in the weight room and track is going. I am just trying to get stronger and get my body into shape right now.”
What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“I want to put on some weight and strength so that I can prepare myself more to run against bigger guys.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“We are pretty confident but we are not getting ahead of ourselves. We have a lot of tough games this year.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“Kuemper and Logan for sure will give us tough games. In non-district, it will definitely be the Earlham game. They’ll be a tough team that plays us tough.”
Do you want to play football in college?
“I would love to, yeah.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I actually have not had any college coaches me at this point.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“I want to try to get to a couple of camps and see if the schools are looking at me. It is tough with baseball but I’ll try my best to get out there.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Yeah, I actually have season tickets for Nebraska.”
